I am waiting to hear if I passed my logic and personality tests that I took last week for a company called Consolidated Electrical Distributers (CED)as an Accounts Receivable Clerk.

They have said several times that they are "Very interested" in me and yesterday after my second interview, they sent me out for a drug test.

I was even able to negotiate an hourly wage of over $13.00, as I actually was offered a "Temp to Hire" job yesterday as well with HER Realty Corporate HQ in downtown Columbus as an Accounts Payable Clerk. They would have had me working as a temp for 90 days @ $13.00/hr and if they liked me they would have started me at $15.50/hr

I told CED about their offer, and asked them if they had any "Wiggle room" in my hourly rate of $13.00 to start, and told them that all things being equal, I'd rather work for them than the other job offer, as it is closer to home and I'd have to pay nothing for parking. He indicated that he could indeed make me a better counter offer, so now I just have to hope I passed the two tests and I could start as early as Tuesday!!!

I am SURE wanting my unemployed days to END!!!!!

The saddness and pain of losing my last job has really effected me more than I could have ever imagined, and I feel like I will never be happy again...I hope that is just the depression talking...and that I will indeed have hope and happiness again!!

My family has been a real support group for me, and I will always remember their efforts on my behalf with a great feeling of appreciation and gratitude!!

My wife has supported me and believed in me through all of this ordeal, and I have learned the powerful lesson of unconditional love...it is very...very...humbling!!

I have a few things in the fire as far as a job go....an interview with an electrical supply company on Monday, as an Accounts Receivable Clerk, but all MY experience is in accounts PAYABLE!!!

I get tested for AR and a personality test as well, I just hope I pass the tests...THEN...if I do...I have another interview...and I have no idea what the job even pays....I'd sure hate to do ALL this...and then they say it pays $8.00 an hour...I CAN'T live on THAT!!!!!

The fact is...I DON'T need a paycheck...I need a job!!!!

I cashed in my retirement, and will be paying the house off, and we have enough in a supplemental retirement account to live about a year...yeah...I know...I'll have NO retirement left...but hey...maybe I'll get lucky and die young????

So..I need a job...NOT a paycheck (Well....at least for a year anyway)!!!!

I know that God has a plan for my life, but God makes NO promise to keep people out of the valley...just to be WITH them as they are there. Christians throughout the years have suffered...and I've no reason to think that I will just be handed ANYTHING!! So...I can't help but be worried that I may have to do a physicaly demanding job...and I have a bad knee and back, so I can't do that kind of job!

I am an office worker...built for a cubicle!!

Well....first off...I have MY motorcycle back from the brink of "Totaled"...and got to go riding today...but HERE is the kicker.....G-man got HIS motorcycle today...and we went riding in the Hocking Hills/Old Man's Cave area of Ohio...It was so fun!!!!!

We got over 200 miles of error free riding...and AS HE WAS PULLING INTO HIS PARKING SPACE AT HIS APARTMENT.......He hits the car right next to it...which belongs to a member of our band!!!!!

He got a small cut...and his NEW bike got a very small scratch on a plastic part....but BROKE the taillight of the car!!!! Still... I'm SO glad that is as bad as his first day of riding his new bike was!!!

The new season of Smallville is almost apon us....and I am excited about seeing how things are gonna take place!!!

New charactors, on a new network, new superpowers....sounds like FUN!

I am also very hooked on Kyle XY, and I watched the first eppy of Men in Trees last nite, and really enjoyed it...so...we shall see.

I pick up my motorcycle tomorrow nite, as long as the planets all allign correctly, and I'm excited, nervous to be riding again!!! With the weather as nice as they say for the weekend...I'm sure I'll put several hundred miles on her....and THAT sounds like a GREAT weekend!!!!

I had a GREAT time last nite...I went to Cleveland with "Da G" and we watched the Cleveland Browns beat the Detroit Lions in a pre-season game...we got to the game at halftime...which is a funny story in itself....but hey...it's all good in da hood.....Literally!!!!

So....how ya'll??

I am in a great mood...just went out with a buddy of mine this Saturday nite...to drive along a long stretch of road in a Dodge SRT10..it has a VIPER engine in it...and is Dodges PRIMIER truck!!!!

We did 7 burn-outs at the crowds requests.....that thing has some SERIOUS torque!!!!

It was so very cool....EVERYONE was checking THIS truck OUT!!!!

I washed my mom's Nissan Ultima today...and did some yard work...went to my sistersfor some great grub...and was about to start a bon fire in the back yard, when my buddy called....I was excited to go...I had NO idea how MANY people would be out watching all the Dodges drive by....the cops were out in force...telling people NOT to throw water in the streets....(Which helps with the burn-outs!!!) and issuing tickets....but there were just TOO many vehicles to do that effectively!!!

I'm lookin forward to a cool evening...and a hot tub...now THAT sounds like FUN!!!!

Too bad cabins are so friggen expensive to rent...as a cabin, with a hot tub and a Jacuzzi sounds like the perfect way to spend some quality time...donchathink???

Interesting show....perhaps ...I DO say perhaps....better than Smallville.

First of all.....NO Lana!!!!! God...I hate her character...and NOW she is 100% totally useless to advancing the show one bit...Lana MUST die!!! (Me?? anger issues???...never!!!!)

Second....we learn...along with the other characters...what is happening to Kyle...without the pre-concieved as in the story of Superman...we already KNOW a lot about Clark...this Kyle is a mystery....and I like it...sure hope they decide not to really screw this story up!!!

Have I mentioned recently how GREAT Superman Returns was??????? It was great!!!

Found out that my bike is valued at $4,600...and the repairs would be $3,600...if they don't total it...which I'm afraid they just will do.....

Waiting for the insurance company to tell me what they wanna do....seems like I should have some say in this...I AM the "customer" after all.......yeah...right!

I had planned to take the family to Canal Winchester to The Wig-Wam for breakfast, and then the Farmers Market is right outside the door, on the street today...but it looks as though the rain will change those plans today.

All I need is some good Ohio river tomatos, and I'll be making some of my "Hit by a Truck" famous salsa today....I can't wait!!!

I am looking forward to The Funny Bone tonite....it's a 11:45 show...so I'll be out LATE...but Harland Williams will be worth it...What a Treat!!!

Life is strange for me right now.

Glad to be alive...and I feel good...but this whole having an accident and getting blamed for it...when you KNOW you are not responcible...and hiring a lawyer...kinda sucks!

I have secured legal representation, and will fight to the end.

Why the world needs Superman

Wow...still thinking about this movie.....

That is how great I thot it was!!!!

I hear that the comic book Superman is adding Chloe to their universe...what a great decision!!!

Lana sucks the life right outta Smallville.....and NOW...has almost NO reason to be on the show.....but...of course....the angst that she will TRY to give Clark....(We viewers could care less) will be what the writers will try to do with her character...(Boooooorrrrring).

I was hoping for more face time for Chloe and Clark....and a possible romance....but (SPOLIER ALERT!!!!) with the new Jimmy Olsen written in for at least this season....THEY will be the new hot topic for me....I sure hope Jimmy treats her right.....she has simply had enough troubles for one good woman to have to deal with!!!

I return (Superman Returns???) to work tomorrow....I'm sure it will suck....and be a good thing as well.

I miss my motorcycle....a ton!!!!!!

I miss the feeling of riding in the countryside....more than anything!!!!

Riding is the very best part of being me....and I can't live without the rush of the ride!!!

The Superman movie I saw at the IMAX 3D was insanly great!!!

I gotta see this movie again!!!!!

I was so impressed how great it was....

That's because it was NOT good...it was GREAT!!!!!

I also now have a new tooth...one of my 2 front teeth was chipped back when I was 10...it is now 100% there...the dentist did A WONDERFUL JOB AT FIXING IT FOR ME TODAY!!!

Ate at On The Boarder tonite after the movie...what a great place!!!

Just think...today would have prolly been my funeral day..if I would have been killed this past Sunday nite....WITHOUT seeing the Superman movie????!!!!!!

Well hello!!!

I am home trying to get better after a little run-in with a truck.

I plan to be back to work by next Monday.

Not 100% sure yet how I will handle the whole "Going to the restroom" thing while I'm at work... any volunteers...ladies???

I've got a red cast on my right wrist...and lots of road rash and lots of aches...but I'm glad to be still kicking!!!

I had the best Sunday I've ever had in decades...everything went well at Katies church...and the weather was perfect for the plans I had for the afternoon...I really felt alive and better than I have in a long time!!!

I have not seen my motorcycle ...and am not sure I can do it....she is in a motorcycle hospital...and they will start on her in a couple of weeks...to see if she has a chance of returning to me...or be totaled.

Had a good day...it's always a good day when ya get to eat hot dogs...not once...but twice!!!

Had lunch with a couple of lovely ladies and went to Phillips Coney Island...and I even got treated...something I am NOT worthy of...but it was a nice!!

Cleaned my desk to the point where I THINK I might have found Jimmy Hoffa...so I guess they can stop digging around up at that horse farm up in that state up north!!!

It's amazing to think that I've worked at my job for almost 18 years...with 12 more years to go... until retirement...I sure hope I make it!!!!

I rode to work today...MAN...what a great feeling to ride it hard...and ride it well...I seriously recommend to anyone who desires to ride, to take a Motorcycle Safety Class...even though I honestly think they have dumbed it down quite a bit...still...if you study and practice...you can make the most out of it..and gain valuable knowledge to know what and how to react when trouble raises it's ugly head!!

SIPDE is the original study...Scan...Identify...Predict... Decide... Execute...THAT is a great way to ride...now they use SEE...which I think is Scan... Evaluate... Execute... I think that students miss something with the shorter mental/physical process...but hey...what do I know???

I have been off my Prozac now for about 3 weeks...and have yet to decide if I will stay off them...I like that ONE of the side effects...a MALE kinda side effect...is becoming less and less a problem....BUT...now that it is even more active than ever.... I have nothing to DO with it...since apparently my wife thinks I'm a butt-wipe. Perhaps I am....but hey...I'm kinda cute....right?

Well...The knee is feeling better yet...Shoot...I just might ride the motorcycle by Friday!!!

Had some decent corn-on-the-cob tonite...it was just a promise of good Ohio corn to come!!!

I might just be in my first parade this coming holiday...I may be pulling the float for my churches VBS promotion....and I'll be using my truck that I sold to my bro-in-law...it used to be my Superman truck....DAG...I miss that truck...it was awesome....AC was great....TONS of power...and the size of the truck...matched MY size..BIG!!! I sold it to help us out financially...but a brother sure misses his truck!!!

Greetings all....I hope all is well in your world!!

I just went to Wendy's and had a yummy diner of a chicken sandwich, Ceaser salad and cup of chili!!

All good stuff..and cheap too!!!

I am in a weird place in my life right now...and hope for the best...my band is falling apart..and I'm happy/sad about it!

I'm pretty sure that is where most of my current weirdness is coming from!!

That and the busyness at work...as we end the fiscal year...so I hope things will slow down soon!!

I schedualed a knee doctor appt in July to have the doc tell me I Kneed (HA!) knee surgery....I'll prolly get a whole new knee...what fun!!!

Just got in from going to The Shadowbox Caberet w/my good friends "G" and Bruce

We had a great time with great sketch comedy and good ole Rock-n-Roll!!

Stopped by the Bose store...for a demo of their home movie system...it was awesome as always!!!

Had some Greaters ice cream...and had a great nite out with the boys!!!

I am sooo looking forward to the time in the not-too-distant-future...when my man "G" gets his motorcyle.

There is simply nothing like that kinda freedom...at least for me... the sights...the smells....the good food and the total experience of riding to God knows where...and being who you wanna be... where you wanna be...

It is NOT for everyone....to do it very long....you must give up your road rights...and ride like evryone is out to kill you...it's like Mad Max...but only on the forilla!!!

That's it for me...as you can see by the date of the last post..I'm not so very good at keeping this updated....but wil redouble my efforts (0 X 2 = 0?) to post before the next national election...Ha!!!

.... that Oz will ever be back. I'm not sure why he restarted, just getting our hopes up for a triuphant return, when he planned on abandoning us for so many months (4 months tomorrow since an original Oz post). I hound him frequently, but his excuse is always the same... dialup.

His neighborhood has bad phonelines, so his normal maximum speed is 26.4 kbps. Definitely not screaming fast. By the time he dials up, navigates to blogger, clicks to make a new post, he has had 2 birthdays. Poor guy.

Even poorer us. Let Oz know that you want some OFFICIAL ORIGINAL OZ!

Oz has continued to simplify his life by removing some of his recurring obligations so that he is free to do the little things that pop up in life and focus on some of his other recurring obligations.

The biggest of those is of course the band, which is coming along nicely. Monday's practice was a little step backward, but in total, I feel that we are moving in the right direction.

Since Oz has the unfortunate situation of not having broadband (perhaps we should take up a collection?) and being unable to post from work, I am stepping in to provide updates so that this site doesn't become as state as Oz's jokes (Just kidding, Buddy!).

In addition to Oz's connection woes, he has been extremely busy recently. The rap CD that he appeared on dropped and is actually very good. He had been hoping to record his own CD in that very studio, but alas - it has closed for business. But there is hope... more on that later.

Our band, I say "our" since I am in it as well, that Oz was excited about has undergone some personnel changes, but is still moving forward. We have a concert on the 22nd of October and we are all very excited to have it happen. Many good things are coming into place for the show and I think we are going to sound great.

The biggest thing that has come into place is our acquisition of some equipment that is going to allow us to sound as great as possible. I care about that the most since I am the sound guy, but I imagine that the other bandmates will want to sound their best, as well.

Another member of our band has a for-profit professional recording studio in his home and I think Oz is going to record his CD there. It should be an even better situation that the one he had before, so this might end up being the album of the year!

Almost 3 weeks????!!!!

Sorry kids....I've been Blogless for awhile...thot I would stop in and do some reading and post one too!
Today is my 14 year anniversary... we celebrated by eating cips & cheese with my homemade salsa....da bomb is what it is!!!
Th erap CD that I sang on with The Messenjaz is schedualed to be released tomorrow.....I am waaaay excited about it....these guys are good....really good!!!! I think they are as good.....or better...than anything I hear.
I asked them...and they have agreed to record MY CD for me....so yahooo!!...Maybe....just maybe....it might actually get made.....we'll see!!!

The band that I am in had practice this past Monday....the instruments are really good....but we need help vocally....I am hoping that a new "girl" that will be joining us will help us sound better.....We have our first gig schedualed at church and life truely IS grand!!!
I really have a ton going on in my life right now....but no time to type more of it.....I just know I am so very happy with the way things are going!!!!

Life is good....but a bit stressful.

We got a new (to us) car this past weekend...a 2001 Impala....and paid only $1,600.00 for it....waaay below NADA and KBB so we are happy!!!

Been spending time in the pool...and loving it!!!!

Had Grapevine Pizza and Handel's icecream tonite.....yum!!!!

I have been working VBS this week, and it has been great and at the same time... I am ready for it to be over.... We are on a Ramblin' Road Trip and boy am I tired.....we eat well though...as the workers are feed well!!!!

The wife goes to Maryland week after next...so I'll be "Batchin it" for a few days....s/b kinda fun......I hope.

It's raining every day here in Ohio....but that's okay... I won't melt!

I am sitting here on a hot...hot....did I mention....HOT.....Sunday afternoon....with no one to go riding with......and...fact is....maybe that is a good thing....did I mention it was....HOT???????
Life is good....and my song...well...actually songs....2 services ya know....they both went well......and I am beginning to start getting a little excited about doing a concert in the fall....I am hoping to get my CD done in time to promote it at the concert....
Just had Popeye's Chicken for the first time today....it is wonderful...and I hope to have it again sometime soon......everything was sooo tasty!!!!
I wish I could talk about "deeper" subjects....but find it hard to do in a one way conversation......plus I'm not that deep as well.....still......it seems like I have nothing to offer a reader.....as I have almost no opinions to promote...but hey.....thanks for stopping by.....I do find it difficult to keep this a family Blog....as I have so much "frustration" that it is way hard to not think about.....oh well.......I will suppress it again.....perhaps it IS best.....much love to the one....laters!

I have had a nice...but hot...day here in Columbus, Ohio.....started out early with a cook-out....where I got to be head cook at the grill.....and then home for a 2.5 hour soak in the pool....followed by some pizza and some friends coming over.....all in all....another great day!!!!

Fred called tonite......and we will maybe get a few miles on our motorcycles tomorrow late.....who knows???

I am singing for the church service in the morning....and I am really excited about the song......"Life of Praise" by Casting Crowns.......it is gonna be fun....I just hope the voice will do what I ask of it!!!!

Hey Guru.....my SS class that started last week is a Ken Hamm study....I keep forgetting to tell you about it...hoping you will come to it....we have a lawyer in the group who is not too fond of the 6 literal days subject.....you would really enjoy talking in class about this topic.....you should come!!!!

Well....we finally...after 4 years....got our pool up and it is just great...the weather is in the 90's and it is just the perfect escape to Coolville!!!

Everything is as good as always......and I am just so excited about life....no...it's not perfect...but I got some good friends and a good job, and I am just happy that everything is as it should be.

In my attempt to highlight/bold the name of the show....I must have deleted it instead....duh!

Anyway...as you can NOW see......I was refering to that wonderful Paul Riser/Helen Hunt classic "Mad About You"

I actually had to stop watching it near the end...as they wrote Helen Hunt's charactor (Jamie Buckman) as waaay too bitchy...and it started annoying me!!!

I rode the freshly cleaned motorcycle to Amish country yesterday....had a good time with a church group ride...it was the same church in Pataskala, Ohio that I did a concet a few years back...with guitar and back-up vocals with the infamous "G-Man" You KNOW I did some good eating!!!

I am 7 eppy's from viewing the first season of and I am loving it!!!

If you have fond memories of this show...I recommend getting the DVD's and sit back and laugh!!!

I borrowed them from the library....and it is so fun to go back to when my wife and I were dating and watching this show....we just sit and hold hands and smootch while we watch it...such a great show...and a great "date time" together as well!!!

Hi to all.....I am feeling/doing good.
I had a great "Guy's nite" out this past Tuesday nite with a couple of dudes that I really enjoy hangin with. We had the best steaks EVER and a potato from heaven.....great food and good times...yeah baby!!! Then we went out for Fantasy Golf...where I proceded to get my butt handed to me....close game....but I came in last place....many thanks to G for a great time out with da guys!!!!

Had a PT appointment today...it went well...I hope to be back to work sometime next week!!!

I have decided that my Blog is gonna be a "positive" thing in my life....so I will try to hold any negative thots to myself!!!
